Worn Out
Worn Out is a bold and unapologetic punk rock festival designed to bring legendary punk bands back together for a high-energy celebration of rebellion, music, and subculture. The festival’s identity was crafted to stand out in a crowded event scene, immediately grabbing the attention of punk fans and creatively inclined passersby who recognize the visual cues of the genre.
The festival’s visual identity is loud, raw, and full of attitude, using a bright blue and pink colour scheme that runs through every design element. The artwork features striking punk-inspired illustrations, rendered in multiple styles to create a layered, DIY aesthetic reminiscent of classic punk zines and gig posters. This approach not only embraces the festival’s rebellious roots but also allows for flexibility in how the identity is applied across different mediums.

Key Insights
- Bold, high-contrast colour palette of bright blue and pink, ensuring maximum visual impact.
- Maximalist layouts with energetic typography and layered graphics, creating an intense, eye-catching festival identity.
- Highly adaptable branding, with illustrations and design elements seamlessly applied across print, digital, and merchandise.
- Standing out in a crowded festival scene: London hosts many music festivals, so the design was crafted to be instantly recognizable and visually disruptive.

Throughout the project, the goal was to craft a festival identity that felt both nostalgic and fresh, honouring the DIY aesthetics of punk history while making it exciting for today’s audience. A wide range of promotional materials and event branding was developed, including posters, social media graphics, ticket designs, crew badges, vinyl covers, and merchandise. The flexibility of the illustrations and graphics allows them to be adapted across various platforms and materials without losing impact. For this project I used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Procreate
